Summer Vacation? More Like Summer Transformation

This past August, I had the privilege of serving as Rabbi-in-Residence for a week at Camp Ramah New England, our regional branch of the Conservative movement’s premier overnight camp. Camp Ramah, located just over an hour away in Palmer, MA, is a place I speak and write about often. It is a place where I feel at home, where I have found a surrogate family of friends and “spare moms,” where I have learned more about myself and my approach to Judaism than I could capture in these few inches of space.
