The Temple Emunah climate change working group was created to find ways that we, as individuals and as a community, can reduce the emission of greenhouse gases that cause climate change.

Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA)
Established in 2001, The Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA) is an organization that is committed to engaging the Jewish community in promoting civil rights, protecting civil liberties, and achieving social, economic, environmental, and racial justice. We are guided by our fundamental Jewish values and our vision for a world in which every person has the opportunity to be healthy, safe, and economically secure, free from fear and discrimination.
Our environmental advocacy is based on the principles of climate justice, which works to both achieve climate sustainability and secure relief for low-income communities and communities of color who are disproportionately impacted by climate change. We accomplish this through a combination of coalition-based grassroots legislative advocacy, lobbying, and participatory educational workshops on the connections between climate justice, environmental sustainability, and Jewish values. We welcome both communities and individuals to join us in this important work.
