Wine Gladdens the Human Heart

“Wine gladdens the human heart,” as proclaimed in the Psalms. Wine plays an important role in the Jewish practice and has been a key crop in the land of Israel since antiquity. We will partake of this joy in a lively evening of tasting and learning.

Join us on Sunday, April 22, starting at 6:00 PM for a 3 course meal with 4 cups of wine with David Bernat, PhD. We will drink 4 different world class Israeli wine with accompanying foods. The presentation and conversation will focus on wine appreciation, wine and food pairing, wine in Jewish tradition, and most importantly, the history of Israel through the lens of wine culture. This event is a shared Sisterhood and Adult Ed Eventcosts $25 / person and space is limited!
