Maor Zeevi will be our Israel Shabbat speaker on June 1, 2019. He will be speaking about “Peace of Mind: for Released Combat Soldiers,” an Israeli organization helping combat soldiers process their experiences. One of the things this project does is connect IDF veterans with Jewish communities around the world. Maor will be bringing resources about this amazing organization, and he will be available to speak during kiddush.
Maor, originally from Tel Aviv, served 3 years in the Egoz unit as a combat soldier and commander, and still serves several weeks a year in reserve duty. Following his service, he worked in Africa for a military consulting company. Upon returning to Israel, he studied Engineering at Ben Gurion University. Maor has extensive experience in the tech industry working in both start-ups and big companies such as Intel and Google. In June 2019 he will graduate from MIT Sloan School of Business and will join Amazon as a Senior Product Manager. Maor is married to Lia and father to 1-year-old Ella. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, running, kitesurfing and snowboarding. We hope everyone can attend to hear this informative and interesting talk! FLYER
