The Adult Ed Committee invites everyone to join them for a year of learning with our rabbis, thanks to the Jewish Theological Seminary's course: The Ethical Life. The complex issues of modern society are, at their core, issues of ethical and moral concern. Now, more than ever, we require a solid understanding of how Jewish ethics can inform our discussions and decisions about the critical questions of the day.
Each session includes a short video lecture featuring JTS faculty members and other expert scholars, text study, and guided group discussion led by our rabbis. Join us for this unique opportunity to study the sources of Jewish ethics in their original and learn how we can apply them today. We meet monthly, November through June, and this year we have two tracks: Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Lerner and Dessert and Discussion with Rabbi Kling Perkins. See dates and details HERE.
